Best-selling 2.0" monotube remote reservoir shock for the Land Cruiser 100. Big oil volume, stable damping, rebuildable design and nitrogen adjustability for hard off-road use and overland travel at a very competitive price.
The Profender Spain Dakar 2.0" is a monotube remote reservoir shock absorber designed for the Toyota Land Cruiser 100 that delivers performance far beyond conventional twin-tube shocks while staying affordable.
The large 2.0" body and 2.0" remote reservoir provide a substantially increased oil volume—in many applications more than double the capacity of an OEM shock. More oil and separated nitrogen mean lower working temperatures, reduced fade, and consistent damping on long, rough stages, loaded trips and fast tracks.
The reservoir is internally divided by a floating piston, keeping oil and nitrogen separate. As the shock compresses, oil moves into the reservoir, pushing the piston and progressively compressing the nitrogen. This creates:
very sensitive response to small bumps, and
a firm, controlled end-of-travel that makes bottoming-out much harder.
Each unit is serviceable/rebuildable, so with proper maintenance you get a shock that can stay at 100% performance for a long time instead of being a throw-away part. Ideal for overland rigs, heavy touring setups and demanding off-road use.
46 mm piston for strong, precise damping 20 mm shaft for durability in rough conditions Floating piston separating oil and nitrogen (no aeration, less fade) Adjustable nitrogen pressure to fine-tune behavior Spring preload adjusting nut (on coilover-type applications) Large oil capacity for low temperatures & stable performance Fully repairable / serviceable construction Far superior performance to twin-tube shocks at a competitive price
