The NTDD Powerchip STEP 3 is a more aggressive piggyback map for the Toyota Land Cruiser HDJ100 1HD-FTE, aimed at owners who want to fully exploit the engine’s potential with proper hardware and maintenance.
Like other NTDD units, STEP 3:
Installs between the engine and the factory ECU (no ECU opening or flashing)
Does not modify or delete the OEM control unit
Optimizes fueling and engine parameters to significantly increase power and torque, while maintaining driveability when the vehicle is correctly set up.
STEP 3 is intended for vehicles beyond basic bolt-ons—this is the level for serious touring, towing and off-road builds with upgraded airflow and cooling. Exact gains depend heavily on turbo, intercooler, exhaust, fueling, and engine health, but it sits above STEP 2 in performance potential.
