NTDD Powerchip – Software 1 for Toyota Land Cruiser HDJ100 1HD-FTE

The NTDD is a sophisticated piggyback computer that sits between the engine and the OEM ECU to optimize fueling/timing for the Toyota HDJ100 1HD-FTE. It does not overwrite or flash the stock ECU; instead it runs in harmony with it to safely raise horsepower, torque, and efficiency. STEP 1 is a conservative calibration for stock vehicles seeking a noticeable bump with smooth drivability and lower consumption. Typical gains for reputable plug-in modules on the 1HD-FTE are in the +40–45 hp range with a strong mid-range torque increase, depending on vehicle condition and supporting mods.

Note on boost: the HDJ100 ECU generally protects above ≈1.0 bar MAP. If you plan to run higher boost (hybrid/VNT turbos, heavy tunes), a MAP sensor emulator (EMUMAP) is commonly used to prevent limp mode. STEP 1 itself is intended for stock-boost setups.
